Our Team

Hi, I’m Abbey Rorvick! A floral lover who first got a taste for design way back in high school. While most kids’ first jobs were in retail or hospitality, there I was stripping thorns off roses and sweeping up the waste. I eventually moved up to designing and have been in love ever since.

While my professional career went in a different direction for a while, I always kept up floral design as a hobby, and for the past few years I have had the pleasure of doing freelance design for other local wedding florists. 

Luckily, as of 2024, life circumstances have aligned to allow me to pursue a floral business of my own. So that leaves me to welcome you to January & June, thank you for following along and supporting my small business!

  • Once you submit your inquiry form, we will be in touch to schedule a consultation, where we’ll go over your specific floral needs. We’ll discuss your vision, I’ll make any suggestions, and we can simply get to know each other. A ✨vibe check✨, if you will. 😊

    I will then create a custom proposal for you to look at and review. We can make edits to your initial proposal until it’s perfect for you!

    If you choose to move forward with us as your florist, a 50% deposit is required to hold your date.

    About six to nine months before your event we will have a design meeting and do a venue walk-through, if needed. Between one month before your wedding we’ll have one last meeting to finalize all the little details and timeline of the day. The remaining balance will be due at this time.

    Day of, our team shows up and makes your floral dreams come true! We also handle the task of tearing down, if necessary!

  • No! We love providing everyday and special occasion arrangements. In addition to this, we also provide arrangements for most holidays. You can learn more about our current offering on our shop page.

  • Designs that are healthy for both our team and our planet are a top priority. We design with seasonal, local blooms whenever possible and we strive to choose environmentally friendly and reusable mechanics. In addition, during our design days and at the end of each event we compost as much organic material as possible.

  • Florals are at the heart of our business, but our love of event design doesn’t stop there. We have various inventories from candle holders to signage stands that you can rent for a small fee with your purchase of any floral arrangements, whether it’s a wedding, dinner party, or holiday. We can also help source any design elements you may want that are not a part of our current inventory.
